Completely fictional, inaccurate, dangerous, and antisemitic account of the Israel-Palestine conflict in which Jews are “white aggressors� and ironically there is no mention of the violent intifidahs carried out by Palestinians, the “martyrs funds where Mahmoud Abbas pays the families of suicide bombers to kill Jews, or even the fact that the ARABS STARTED THE WAR IN 1948! So many convenient omissions in what Ta Nehisi pretends is a historically accurate account. Do not recommend this one sided revisionist history that is meant to brainwash those who don’t know better. Shame on Ta-Nehisi.

Suzanne, I don't mean to be mean or rude. But the world largest courts and the UN back the book's claims.Forget about the guy and his "opinion". The International Court ruled that Israel is an Apartheid state that is currently illegally occupying. Palestine since decades. This is backed by a UN general assembly vote of 123 to 14.
To be fair, referring to the UN as a neutral party is misleading at best. The UN was also responsible for ensuring Hezbollah did not have a presence in southern Lebanon (agreed to by Israel and Hezbollah) and failed to do so. The UN’s Palestinian agency also had members who participated in the October 7th massacre of Israeli citizens and their buildings in Gaza housed terrorist command centers and bombs. Israel also left Gaza over 20 years ago and did not occupy it at all until the war started. There are many Muslim states and only one Jewish one- Israel will always be on the losing end of a UN vote no matter the validity.
I wonder how ignorant you have to be to say that Palestinians started the war in 1948 when they were ethnically cleansed during the Nakba of 1948.

Let me remind you Palestinians were living in that area when GB created Israel and forced Palestinians out of their own land. Think about it this way: how would you feel if Mexico decided to take back Texas and California and then heavily and violently occupy the territory? Because there's no difference with what happened in the Middle East. And how many children have to die from sniper wounds, how many hospitals have to be bombed, how many innocent people have to die at the hands of Israel for you to realize that the country is guilty of genocide? Also, if people want to hear the Israeli side, look at any news cite. There is no shortage of their side of the story. Stories like THIS, the untold and unheard truths are the ones that need to be told now.

It briefly discusses the assassination of Folke Bernadotte, a Swedish diplomat, who was appointed as a United Nations Mediator in Palestine. He was assassinated on Friday September 17, 1948 by members of a Zionist paramilitary militant organization after he recommended Arab refugees be allowed to return to their homes, from which they were forcibly removed. Her book made me realize there are two sides to every story and we can learn things by looking at others point of view with an open mind.
