Old Soul.... I was captivated by the cover right away. I mean look at it!!

This was an eerie and captivating horror that is such a unique and fresh take on the horror genre.

I enjoyed Barker's writing with vivid atmosphere and descriptions. It felt so ominous and unsettling to me.

I really loved that it was a blend of literary fiction and horror. But, I have to say it's light horror.

The whole creepy vibe surrounds this mysterious woman who is always on the move who never ages or goes by the same name. If you see her your life will be changed. Creepy and delicious right?!

Also... well done with that ending. I've always been a fan of going dark and deep with horror. I watch horror movies a lot and tend to go down that rabbit hole quite often ;).

Overall, 4/5 stars
