I have no idea where to even start with this one lol it literally felt like I was reading a fever dream the entire time, which I’m pretty sure is the point..? I liked the beginning, but it just went so far south by the end I had no idea wtf I was reading. A 2 feels too low, but a 3 too high? idk

Totally agree! The ending was weird and pretty all over the place.
It was so good in the beginning. I kept wondering where it was going. I had about 10 chapters left and didn’t want to finish it. Then the last line got me. I really liked it.
I agree 100%, I don’t know how I feel about this one and I was hoping I’d really enjoy it. Bummer.

My comment has spoilers!!!I felt the same way. When I was putting my rating in I couldn't decide a 2 or a 3. It was creepy, it was good, but that ending. That was just weird and lost me. Too much happened in a short period of time. Connor and his legs though lol. I think I'll always be a little traumatized of the mom breastfeeding her baby. Like ummm that's your daughter's baby what the fuck was that? How do you just imagine all of that fucked up shit? Book was wild. I'll be thinking about it for some time. I totally called zephie being a ghost though.

What was with the weather?! Several feet of snow and the next day they’re barbecuing on the porch? I found that so distracting.

I listened to this one on audio. I was all in until the last 30 minutes, and then it lost me. It's very frustrating and would be up there with books I'd throw across the room.
