Charlie and Autumn were involved in a tragic event 8years ago that took them in directions they weren’t proud of and on a journey full of pain and grief of the loss of a friend and loved one. Autumn left town trying to get away from the pain but now she’s back in her hometown after receiving a phone call from her brother about their father’s health. She can’t stay away any longer and returns home. Charlie is not happy that Autumn is back and blames her for that tragic night. Things happen and on their journey through not only their mutual grief but also towards their HEA they didn’t think they deserved. They help each other heal from their pain and their loss. Charlie lost not only a friend but the person he felt was the love of his life and Autumn lost her best friend. As they work through their past pain and begin to build something without realizing, things are revealed that change the circumstances of the accident and the kind of relationship Autumn had with her then boyfriend. Natasha not only gives us an emotional story that guts you but she puts you back together in such a way that these characters will be with you rent free not just in your mind but in your heart as well. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by Natasha but I have to say that this one is my top favorite to date. I was instantly hooked and did not want it to end. I can’t wait for the next book in this new series.
