I found Tova difficult to understand as a character. She seems downright crabby, judgy and cold, and hard to find endearing. Ethan is enthralled with her nonetheless. Was difficult for me to get into the book without a tad bit more warmth to her character. Her friends just seem to irritate her and she doesn’t seem kind towards them or anyone really. Enjoyed the octopus. Enjoyed the ending where things wrap up nicely.
