it was ok

I’ve simply never read such an entitled, un-self aware memoir. I thought maybe having grown up in the environment she did, during such an interesting time in Hollywood, Lisa-Marie would be able to provide a unique retrospective on life. She’s been through so much and I thought her experiences would make her full of wisdom…turns out, not so much. This one is a big skip for me unless you’re a die-hard Elvis fan and don’t mind reading a delusional, sanitized version of history.

Macy Albright Even as a die hard Elvis fan I did not love the book, she leaves a lot of her life out. The book definitely painted Pricilla & Lisa Marie in a bad light.

Denise Patterson Totally agree. Undisciplined and spoiled people

Definitely! I am a big Elvis fan but this book was a waste of time and money. I was so disappointed. Read Last Train to Memphis: The Rise of Elvis Presley which is much better.

Jackie When she wrote about being so annoyed and bored and had distain for people who work, come home and talk about their days, and eat dinner, I thought wow she is so out of touch with the entire world.

Eliza Sachs Jackie, that doesn't make someone out of touch because they don't want a mundane boring life. Maybe you're offended because your life is shitty and that IS all you do everyday...but some people are actually ambitious and want to do something with their life.
