It was really rude of Rei to pull on Kira’s hair just because she wouldn’t talk to him in class. She shouldn’t have to talk to him if she doesn’t want to. The fact that Rei felt like he should have the right to her attention enough that he would touch her like that is inappropriate. He even pulled her hair tie out and “bǰǷɱ it without asking? He has no manners.
That being said, Rei would still come through for Kira whenever she was in trouble and get her out of dangerous situations . . . Even though he did blame Kira after he rescued her from being sexually assaulted by her teacher. This guy was just all over the place.
It was kind of strange. One moment, Rei would be acting all sweet and kind to Kira, then he would suddenly say something that made him sound like a womanizer. His character was hard to figure out in this first volume. I’m hoping there will be some character development from him in the rest of this series.
