I almost DNF this book. It was a great story, had a promising plot and the main characters were great. Unfortunately the writing style with repetitive lines and phrases let it down. Another factor .... it was entirely too long. I feel like instead of the 500+ pages, the story could have been complete in less than 300 pages.
I wish it could have a do over as the concept really is good. The idea of being magically tethered and bound to a dark vampire prince is quite intriguing and honestly something I would absolutely devour.
