"The real monster was the terrifying, sobering fact that it was so easy for us to lose our minds."
Short, great descriptions but not my favourite. I would love to have known the origins of the creatures and why they did what they did, were they vampires... Deep sea vampires?
The descriptions really had my imagination going. Fisher was my favourite character by far, he was such a sweet boy and there may have been a chapter or two which had me shed a tear.
There was one character's death, and more to the point, how she was killed which was pretty gruesome and made me wince. But I won't mention which character as if you read it, you'll understand who it was.
Overall, although short it was a little slow to start but when it picks up it's really hard to put down.
