That book was a mix bag of good and bad and I don't really know how I feel about it.
I felt like the mystery part of the story made no sense once we got the solution. I couldn't suspend my disbelief to believe what we were told happened happened. Also, I felt like there were WAY TOO MUCH stuff happening in one day. That was exhausting to read and way too "ahah look everything happened at the same time". I didn't like any of it.
But contrary to a lot of people here it seems, I liked the heroin. I liked that she wasn't likable. It's not usual for female main characters, and I felt it was well written. It kept me reading. I liked how it portrayed depression, particularly that specific kind of depression that one has learned to live with since childhood.
