This was tough to read. While I acknowledge she had to work hard in her life, there is very little recognition of her extreme privilege. Don鈥檛 like your White House job? Buy a food store! Don鈥檛 feel like packing to move? Put all your belongings on the curb at your old house and buy new. Ha ha! Can鈥檛 find the right style furniture for your Paris apartment? The obvious reaction is 鈥減anic.鈥� This is all presented in a very glib, very amused manner and comes off pretty tone deaf.
