I mostly listened to The Story of a Heart. Anyone interested in learning more about the organ donation process, this truly gives a step by step, but not in didactic-only fashion. The whole experience is humanized through the true account of two families joined together by one beating heart. I think it will appeal more to science-oriented readers, though, like I said, it has a good balance of actual people and storytelling, along with the facts and process. I’d say maybe a 50/50 balance. Overall, a more than worthy listen, and a story that will stay with me a long time.
I received a gifted physical copy and purchased the audio from librofm.
