Although slow at times, it’s well worth it. Beautiful narration of a lifelong friendship AND love story. Highs and lows, pain and tears, predicaments and crossroads, ending with love and hope. I sometimes felt “Forest Gump�� vibes, other times I felt a bit of “Shawshank Redemption��. Only a sprinkle though…this story is unique. I love it when the written word can take you to tears…that’s true art, when simple words threaded carefully can stir such feelings.
