I really feel something is missing from those books, and I can't say what. I don't feel like I'm reading a Firefly story when I'm reading them, not exactly... But it's close enough to make me a little bit nostalgic and still have fun while reading them.

I always felt Jayne was not developed enough in the tv-show, and I liked having a story about him, eventhough it was weird to have him with a serious romantic interest, I just can't imagine Jayne in love.
