There is so much to say and think about King Salazar and Rumor. You can’t help but truly feel for Rumor throughout the entire book seeing not only the physical damage that her husband caused her in the beginning of the book, but also the additional trauma that he left her with. King is deliciously unhinged, possessive and protective over Rumor from the moment he puts eyes on her. There is a lot of the story that develops and revealing secrets so there is a lot that I don’t want to say so as not to ruin anything. But I will say that the slow burn is so worth it. The mouth on King is unbelievably worth it! But naturally it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. So I am patiently waiting for “Slay King� to be added to KU so I can figure out how this story ends because I need to see if they get their HEA
