Lefty: A Story That Is Not All Right

I was an ASL terp (in-TERP-reter) in my church for a number of years -- not licensed, but a very skilled hack. It's a whole new level of talking with your hands.
I love that the illustrations are a mix of drawn hands and the photographed actual hands of Dan Santat and Mo Willems. And while kids now can use left or right hands unimpeded, there was a time when it was thought, well, gauche! (That's French for left, but in English it means unsophisticated and socially awkward.)
