This was a four-star read the first time around.
This time, it's a solid 3 nostalgic stars from me.
I read this for the first time almost fifteen years ago. I remember liking it much more than I did this time around.
It just seemed to drag on and on in parts.
Especially the beginning of the book, (view spoiler) seemed to stretch into a very measured and lack-lustre backstory, with what you think could be tension but never really achieved the right build up.
