Good on this book for actually acknowledging things like how absurd this grand scheme was and that therapy was necessary to make some breakthroughs. It made the rest of book easier to enjoy and to believe the FMC was a real person with complexities and not just some quirky airhead. And for once, a third act breakup that WAS NOT ONE would’ve been avoided with a brief conversation! (On the other hand, some things in the past could’ve been avoided by everyone speaking honestly to the people around them, but then we wouldn’t have a story at all, and that isn’t realistic, now is it?)

I had not been planning to read this and only grabbed the audiobook because I was excepting fluffy nonsense to keep me only just entertained while driving. It exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it.
