it was amazing

I really liked where this was going. I loved the set up of it, and the way in which we got the story of how exactly he survived, and his escape from the Crypts.

However...

It definitely left me wanting more. In all, the series feels unfinished to me. Much like the end of Delirium, Requiem feels like the universe as a whole has a lot more story to tell. I think Lena is done with her story, but not everyone has had a say.

And I feel like the little bit at the end from Alex's point of view might be a set up for a series from his point of view. Not one starting from the beginning, of course, because that would be crazy and too much. I think it should follow his path until he finds Lena (much like it seemed to be doing in this short story) and then continue on from the point when he does find her. Because I really, desperately, want to see what he was feeling, thinking, the entire time. I want to know what happened from his point of view all through out Requiem and then I would love for it to continue on from the point where we were left off in that, and see how what happened in Portland really affected the state of the borders country-wide.

I really want a version from his point of view, starting where he sees Lena again, and carrying on from there.

Salome' Francis I totally agree. I loved the series but something was just missing at the end. Certain things were implied but I'd love to actually 'see' what happens afterwards.

Chaniee Varley I Completely agree with you I was gutted when requiem ended if im honest it was abit of a crap ending dont gt me wrong I loved the series but yes somthing was missing at the end I think lauren should carry it out in somone elses point of view .

Melanie I agree, I want another book!

message 5: by Cheyenne (new)

Cheyenne I love the simple three books for a trilogy but I wouldn't mind another book :)

Chelsie But what about when he finds her? I neeeeeeeed to know!!! The story must continue!

message 7: by Ju (new) - rated it 4 stars

Ju Haghverdian Yes, I have to agree, although the story gives us an insight into Alex's world we still have that feeling that there was so much more that could be explained and added...

message 8: by Risa Ann (new)

Risa Ann Okay I can't seem to find a copy (eBook or otherwise) of this anywhere! Any help letting me know where to look?

Denisse Pellot Agreed. ..

Elisha Jachetti Absolutely!! Especially because his behavior in Requiem seemed a little unlike his character in certain ways. I know Lauren Oliver kept mentioning that he had changed, but I feel like to get Requiem from his point of view would help to understand what he was going through and then of course, it would be great if she continued the series!

Ash I really couldn't have said this any better myself. I completely agree

message 12: by CT (new) - added it

CT Amen! I agree 100%.

message 13: by Amy (new) - added it

Amy Jackson I completely agree! The end of Requiem left so many unanswered questions, like what happened to julian? or really anyone other than Lena? it was just such an abrupt ending out of nowhere

Katherine Marroquin I agree! I want more! I love the series and I can't get enough of it!
