it was amazing

It has been over a week and I can not stop thinking about this book and these characters. It was such a gift to be able to witness the raw humanity and souls of this family and the mysterious woman. The theme of resilience and hope is beautifully paralleled between the wildlife on and around the island and the humans each struggling to hang on to a piece or memory of it. This is a book that I hugged when I finished it and I can't wait to read it again.
Thank you to the publisher, author and Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ for my ARC. I am looking forward to reading more of Charlotte McConaghy's books this year.
