I think we need to investigate the kindle algorithm because it should not be eating this hard with its recommendations. This was another rec that I went in blindly and couldn’t put down! I had never heard of this series or author before but I am definitely acquainted now because I will be binge reading the rest of this series for the next couple of days. Now this book is definitely a bit of a quicker burn than I usually enjoy, BUT I feel like we’re just getting started with Skyla and her harem of boys. Honestly there are a lot of things in this series that I feel like we only saw snippets of. The whole secret society aspect is definitely number one on that list, because I truly don’t know what the heck is going on. Also I’m hella confused about the whole witches element- like is this turning out to be paranormal? Are any of the characters we already know Witches?! I can’t lie, I’m kinda hoping that Skyla turns out to have some crazy witchcraft powers so she can incinerate the scum that they call ‘The Brethren��. I feel like I need answers ASAP, so if you can’t find me, just know I will be gobbling up the rest of this series😌
