I loved the poetry of this book! It was painted so beautifully with so many colours. The colours were the characters and their relationships as they evolved over the course of three decades.
This is a book about a pirate and a saint. About two kids bound by trauma. Three kids. Four kids. As the story unfolds it reveals many more connections.
Each character is a canvas of their own. I loved them all! Even Sammy!
