I love radio and I love Sarah Vowell. There are very very short essays in this book on every possible aspect of radio programming and recording, plus all the wonderful tangents that happen in Vowell's mind as she becomes more and more heard on the radio herself... and now, of course in podcasts.

I'd recommend this book also to people who don't listen to radio - radio is after all, just a big podcast where you used to not be able to listen to things when you chose to.
