it was ok

I could see where they were going with this story: shy cautious unadventurous girl; shy cautious unadventurous girl inadvertently has adventure with gray wolves that talk and play with her; shy cautious unadventurous girl breaks out of her shell because of her experience. But maybe I was too bogged down by the language and lost sight of the plot. Maybe I was a little too preoccupied by the fact that this little girl was in daycare and that the daycare employees managed to walk off without her (they were on a nature walk) in the first place, causing her to have this (overnight!) adventure with seemingly playful tame wolves. I mean I would think the girl would be more traumatized that she could be so forgotten like that 鈥 and that no one bothered to come find her at all!

The other take is that it was all make believe, i.e. getting lost, spending the night out in the woods. But I know what it is to go to a daycare where no one really cares about the kids because they're just doing their job 鈥 that's what I didn't like about this story.

Monika You take it too seriously. Maybe it was just the imagination of this girl? :-)
