This was a book I first resisted as there was so much hype about it. One afternoon a few years after it had first been published and the hype had died down I picked a copy off a shelf at work and borrowed it. Once I began to read it I just could not put it down. I almost missed my train station because I could not stop reading it. It is in a word - captivating.
