it was amazing
bookshelves: adventure, classics, comfort-books, favorites

The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my most favorite books. I read it when I was in 6th grade, and it still resides as one of the most entertaining, well written novel in my opinion. Why should you read it? Read it if you like Batman. Read it if you like satisfying and fitting acts of revenge. If you love engaging and well developed characters. Though it centers on Edmond Dantes seeking “righteous vengeance for those who betrayed him and destroyed his happiness, it evolves into a story about the consequences of taking control of fate and “providence.
