I almost didn’t read this- I thought nothing could top Dean and Allie. That’s still true to an extent, they’re def my favorite couple from this series,

�. But John Tucker is a God of a man. Seriously. I would have his babies. And I said that before I knew what the damn trope of this book was. He’s a fucking king. I liked Sabrina too, I understood where her mind was at a lot of the time. Avoidant attachment girlies rise up.

But as much as I love Tucker, all of these books just had something missing. I don’t even know what, but there was just a lack of depth, a lack of an ending (SERIOUSLY all of these books have the most rushed endings), and just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Did I still enjoy them? Totally. I went into these reads with low expectations and not expecting much depth or nuance so I was not underwhelmed or disappointed. Idk if I’ll continue on after this one, but I’m glad I read these. God knows I needed some light trash after The Boys of Tommen wreaked serious havoc on my heart and soul.

But John Tucker�. God damn. That’s what my future man is gonna be like. Trust.
