Eeeek. I’ve been a lover of her dark romance series for a while and love everything she writes, but this one didn’t hit it out of the park for me.
The plot was really interesting and I loved the different ways the story kept going with the ages and what not. But at a certain point I found myself more invested in what was really going on with Eli and Becca than I was in Chase and Alina.
Their story felt very repetitive and then it felt very sexual with no substance. I enjoyed her writing but I wanted more of a change for them.
