I didn’t loOoOove this but I enjoyed it a moderate amount. There was just a lot of shallow, vapid, surface level, egotistical stuff that is not for me. And I didn’t like the dynamic between the friends. There was a lot of butting heads and people thinking they knew what the others should be doing and the decisions they should be making with their lives. None of it was my cup of tea. In general I tend to avoid books having to do with podcasters or reality shows or anyone trying to “make it in a career having to do with media or fame. But! I think Sabrina did well with what she had in front of her - which was basically the character she’s created in her quick skits on social media. Somehow it works and is super funny on social media, but as a real character in a book with a real life and relationships, it just wasn’t great for me. But I DO love Sabrina and love her literal voice and intonations and her spirit and could basically listen to her talk all day so that made it fun ~enough~ for me to listen to. And I loved how immersive it was with the full cast, background noises etc etc - it was basically like listening to a classic radio show but a little more modern and high tech. It was reasonably funny, but not crazy funny - the one laugh out loud moment I had was the host for the wellness and spirituality portion of the “pod con saying something about “trademarking your inner truth for financial gain lmaoooo 😭😭😭😭
