1.25***I don’t know how to feel about this book. The characters were unlikeable and made stupid decisions. The book was full of anti black sentiment and none of the colorist and prejudiced comments made by any characters were necessary to the story. They literally served no purpose and added nothing to the story. Not to mention, the end felt unrealistic(how tf did their partners forgive them after what they did???) and I’m still upset about the fact that isobel didn’t get what she deserved. Also, I felt as if there were a lot of unnecessary information that was just dropped into the book. I only really enjoyed near the end, which still wasn’t good, but was immersive. Last thing, I hope my baby Ronke has a good life, though she was a bit annoying at times.
