it was amazing

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the first book in a duet inside the Dark Sovereign world. It is the story of Isaia and Everly. Isaia is the enforcer. The one they call when the job needs to be done. But he is also the youngest of the DelRossa brother's.. He has always felt a little like an outsider in the family because his brothers seem to take to this life like it is second nature and he doesn't. When he meets Everly the first thing that draws him to her are her unique eyes. She literally runs into him and he gets tangled in her dogs leash and he is not a dog person and her is a drooling menace according to him. I loved her personality so much. She is also a girl who doesn't stay in one place to long. She is in a way running from a stepfather she never wanted and one that wants things from her that shes not willing to give. She just wants her life and her freedom. Even if that means not staying in one place to long. She too is interested in Isaia from the moment she sees him, but is afraid to let him get too close. She knows who he is and what his life entails and her father is certainly not his family's friend. That's about all I can say about this book. I love every single second of this book. The prologue will suck you in and have to reading to find out what is going on. I was glued to this book and devoured it. This is a book that you do not want to miss. Now I just have to sit and patiently wait for His Angel to see what is going to happen.
