** spoiler alert ** Everything about this book was amazing. It was heart breaking to see that Daniel and Alexis fell in love, but couldn’t ever be together. Their worlds were too different and it would never work for them. Imagine falling in love with someone you can’t have. I can totally relate to that and that’s why I felt this is my heart. The end of chapter 35 was SO SAD!

BUT!!! That is not to say they didn’t have a HAPPY ENDING! (Yay!) I want a Daniel Grant in my life!! This character is now my most favorite MMC. He would do the most incredibly thoughtful things for Alexis because he loved her. Waking up before her to make her breakfast. Spent HOURS looking for a heart shaped rock to give her. He even made their wedding rings out of wood. Just WOW! I’d also like to point out that Daniel was 28 and Alexis was 37 years old. Huge age gap, but love knows no limits.❤️ 5 STARS! This is the first and only book that has ever made me physically shed a tear after Daniel showed up to the Gala and reunited with Alexis 🥲
