ARC REVIEW
After 12 years of not seeing each other, Jude Larsen and Romy Miller finally come face-to-face when they both returned to their hometown due to unforeseen circumstances. What makes the story chef’s kiss is that you can tell from the get-go that their feelings for each other never went away. I thoroughly enjoyed Among The Willows!
The story starts off with both characters in two different places settings. Then once they travel back to their hometown, which is Willows, the imagery of Thornbrush Ranch had me mesmerized, and wanting to go ride a horse on a trail. The idea of it sounds so peaceful and fun.
The dynamic between Jude and Romy was phenomenal. My attention was captured from the moment they laid eyes on each other.
I loved the protectiveness and compassion from Jude. He was always showing her that he was there for her and he wasn’t going anywhere. What a man, what a man, what a MANNNN!!!
I loved Romy’s fiery attitude and I especially gravitated towards complex she was. Although I was frustrated with her lack of communication skills, I did resonate and I was rooting for her to communicate her feelings with Jude so he could understand where she was coming from with certain situations. Her need to help others was very sweet. I love them both!!!
I’m excited to read book 2 when it comes out!
