if you’re looking for an easy read, kinda cringe, over the top and unlikable characters, this is for you! i really wanted something w “white lotus�� vibes: rich people being obnoxious and a little murderous and this book checked most of my boxes!

the writing is definitely cringe at times, but around 60% to 90% i was HOOKED! i couldn’t put it down. unfortunately, the end was just extremely unbelievable and was a letdown. like hard to read without rolling my eyes. and then, it just abruptly ends! our villains just accept their fate and that’s the end.

every character is miserably unbearable (which i love bc it’s done with purpose!), but claire’s character was so pointless. i totally forgot she was even there at times.

didnt love this one and only kind of liked it, but it was definitely entertaining and pretty easy read.
