it was amazing

this book was truly amazing.
I started reading it four years ago, while recovering from surgery. My head ached very badly and as I felt horrible, I did not want to read a sad story set in WW2. So the book ended up unfinished in my bookshelf. Now a friend of mine told me that he had read it during his summer holiday and said it was one of the best books he's ever read. After this recommondation I took the book out of my shelf and started reading it again. That was two days ago (and hey, this edition has 588 pages!). So, I guess this shows how much I've enjoyed reading it! I found it fantastic that the story is narrated by the death, which makes the book superspecial. Then there's the magical language the novel is written. It's just poetic. The story of Liesel is so realistic and sad. You feel your own heart breaking everytime her world is falling into pieces again. It's a piece of wisdom, of history, of life and love. Especially because you can see the story through the innocent eyes of a child.

AMAZING.
Ok, I have to stop otherwise I'll start crying again.

Btw I've watched the trailer and it looks like a crappy movie, ruining the book it's based on.
