really liked it

This was a really good read. I like the style of how it was written. It was basically a book of letters written to a stranger (who was never revealed) by a boy named Charlie. A freshman in high school going through the motions of depression, friendships, family dramas, sex, and drugs. Charlie was a huge people pleaser and a very sweet, honest kid. He was just journaling his days because he had no one else to talk to about his deepest feelings. He found comfort and safety in knowing that the person he was sending these letters to didn’t know who he was either. This is very raw, real, and authentic to someone who is living their high school experience.

P.s.
I watched the movie and it was SO GOOD.
