** spoiler alert ** This was an ok read for me that sort of went on too long.

The heroine’s husband cheats on her and leaves her. I was hoping for a little more angst but she’s nice to him for the sake of the kids. The angst came in the form of him regretting and trying to get her back later on.

Thankfully she never entertains this and has a brand new hero, who’s almost perfect.

I felt like there were a few too many things working against the story - the middle dragged, the heroine was a little too nice at times, the MCs felt a little too quirky or juvenile, and there were some noticeable editing issues.

I also like to find some positives too though, so I did like some of the characters, her son was super loyal, there’s a cute dog, and I did like that she found a happy and fulfilling life!
