Isaia (Dark Sovereign, #9)

Isaia is good but finishes on somewhat of a cliffhanger, we are only part way through this story, he gets the girl, but at what cost?
Pretty much until the end, this is a surprisingly easy to read, not particularly violent story of a chance meeting that almost seems fated despite the numerous hurdles that face Isaia and Everly.
Once he sets his sights on Everly, she really doesn’t stand a chance, he is obsessed (unhinged) and full on barges into her life with little regard to locks or to the New York mafia families he puts the Dark Sovereign on the radar of.
There is some light heartedness in the writing of this with the banter between the brothers. Caelian seems to live to get under his skin!
Looking forward to seeing how this one finishes up.
