Suzanne Collins expanding the world of THG in this way has me shaken. The details were immaculate. I need to re-read when I’m less emotionally damaged from it to go back and find more. The epilogue itself would have been enough itself to send me into a tailspin, it was a beautiful sentiment. I felt like I was really watching how Haymitch becomes himself when he meets Katniss and Peeta and my heart is broken. I love this book like all-fire.
Thank you for giving us Haymitch’s story, and thank you for the incorporation of Hume. “The easiness with which the many are governed by the few.� It couldn’t be more relevant.

"I know how his Games ends. I know where this is going. But I’m eating this up. It’s SO good. Every character from THG that Suzanne throws in??? Perfect. Haymitch and LD??? Perfection. The Capital and Snow’s propaganda, and how engrained it is in the citizens? I fear I’m going to be crying by the end."
