2.5 stars. Too long, too cheesy, and not enough chemistry between them. Or maybe I just read this too close to the last book. Definitely would not have finished if I was reading it with my eyes. Still liked it enough to finish the audiobook, but even that wasn’t near as good as the first book. I prefer Joe Arden’s accent. This guy sounded like he was permanently doing the Batman growly voice. I get that it’s part of the gimmick in the book, but I hate it.

Also, Lark started to remind me of the blonde sister from the Fantastic Beasts movies, and I really don't like her.

Bonus chapter was good though.
