what is this book doing in 2025? this belongs in the era of chosen one/coming of age/2010s/16-18 yo mc around whom the world revolves around era. aka the era that was better left behind. this is in the same vein as the inheritance games by jlb but worse and way more annoying. i need another word but you get what i mean.

this book was full of contradictions. it starts with tasha throwing a party and being bitchy/mean girl-ish and owning it. she has a fellow mean girl bestie too. she wears the posh spoiled rich girl aura but was naive and dumb as hell. yeah your real estate dealer dad made you learn fighting and shooting as a hobby, nooo other reason at all. the way everyone around her knew about her mafia family but her, the one living in one her whole life. the speech her dad gave about her taking on business didn't click in her pea sized brain once. she was like yeah ill become a property dealer at 18 no problem! she finds out when it hits her in the face (literally) and her reaction lasts for her two secs then someone is like you are the boss now. the people in her circle were just as mentally challenged and had the habit of singing her praises for no fucking reason. did i mention everyone adored her? every guy was in love with her and she was sooo amazing. she was great at everything too. she beat the villain! no one knows how, or if she even had a big role in that, but she did!

there is so much i haven't touched upon, haven't even started on the side characters. tasha took the cake for ruining this book on her own. and the ridiculous ending?! i have had enough of dumb teens. i wanna say, not all ya is like this!!!
