I enjoyed this book, which goes back to Detective Kubu’s first day on the job. He is such a sweet, good-hearted, but highly intelligent character, it is a pleasure to step into his world. This tale of a diamond heist has many twists and turns. Inspired me to go back and pick up the Kubu stories I had missed.
