2.5 stars. I had a bad feeling from the start, but I kept going because I like Elle Thorpe. The MMC is a cop, and we’re supposed to think he’s the good guy, but he does things that make me so mad. Keeping her in a holding cell for hours longer than her friends because she’s the “ring leader�� and she “needs to cool down�� when even he admitted she didn’t do anything. That had me burning up.

I also didn’t like that we rehashed events from the Saint View Prison books. I should’ve expected it, but I didn’t. It annoyed me.
