** spoiler alert ** I loved the other books in this series more, but this one was a cute little fluff piece that takes place in the same world. Vali was an okay FMC, but she didn’t really stand out to me. Ranan was a little flat as well I think and the whole plot being based on the fact that he demanded a ‘bride� instead of a ‘bribe� was a little odd. However it had the usual humor Ruby puts in her books and I enjoyed it for what it was.
