Fantastic Story!!!!!!

This was my first book by J Rose and goodness was I impressed. The story is extremely well written and developed. It pulled me in from the very beginning. It is dark and has moments that truly show that there are evils in our world. Ember is one that is feisty and a survivor of a lot of things. I love her fierceness that she portrays throughout the story. At times she lets her emotions rule and this can cause a few issues during the story. We then have Warren, Hyland, and Axel. These three have amazing personalities. I love Axel and his playfulness at times. His antics break up the darker parts and gives the story a bit of light. Then we have Blaine who is a mystery that needs to be explored. The story ends in a pretty big cliffhanger and I am really excited to see what happens next.
