I loved this book!

“You are mine, Lana.�� Sid’s eyes were black with possessiveness. “I have never said that to anyone in my long life, but you are mine.��

Lana and Sid are both wise cracks and I love that they are so much alike. I love how Lana understands Sid so well. She’s the one person who can see that while he’s always joking around, he can be serious too and that she doesn’t care about his playboy past, knowing that everyone has one and that it doesn’t define a person. Their romance was so passionate and playful.

If she knew his real feelings for her, she’d probably run screaming. She was too young for his appetites, and what he wanted to do to her.

My favorite part of this series is the growing tension and attraction between Slade and Jill. I loved how jealous Slade got in this book when guys arrived as blood donors for her. Both try so hard to hide how they feel about each other, but it’s plain as day for everyone else that they are meant to be together! I really need their book!!!

“Because I lighten the place up.�� Sid headed toward where Jill and Lana disappeared. “I put smiles on the faces of Warriors, and deep down in your secret place, you love me, boss.��

I love the humor in this series! The banter between all the warriors are hilarious, especially with Sid and his smart-ass remarks, and Steve who just blabs everything that comes into his head. There were a lot of things happening with the VC Warrior trainees, Adam acted pretty crazy in this book, not caring about anyone or anything but getting Angelina back and Jill came into her powers and it was fantastic. I loved the smack-down she had with Alice the whore. (I really hate her.)

The human trafficking ring seems to be growing larger and I’m really enjoying the suspense of the VC Warriors trying to put a stop to it and finding all the baddies involved.

With every book this series just gets better and better, and I’m freaking loving it. A must read for all PNR fans.
