She has been huffing his pheromones (and vice versa) for a while now as the meddling aliens have been trying to determine mates. Therefore Yril is going through a warrior feral transformation early and she has to go sooth him now.
It’s fine. These books feel so same-y that reading them back to back is a bit of a chore.
Alien MMC (demon appearing). Mass female extinction for MMC (25 years ago) and mass male extinction for FMC (2 years ago). Virgin MMC. Fated mates. Scenting. “Warrior� feral MMC. Pheromones. Primal. Premature ejaculation. No OMD. No OWD. No cheating. No breakup. Pain leaving fated mate. Hunting/chasing. Hulking out to be able to protect mate. Literal body changes to protect her. On page death (bad guys). Attempted rape of FMC.
Epilogue 4 months later. Epilogue 2 years later with her pregnant and a choosing ceremony for 13 females.
