read this in its entirety off of a pdf I found on twitter (sorry!) wasn't a huge fan of the exposition-- b/c collins precariously wavered between over-explaining the context of d12/ the games & incorporating lots&lots of easter eggs for her devoted readership, I was left wondering who she was writing for... but, like always, collins hits her stride once she gets to the arena & I DID love meeting beetee, wiress, & mags! def makes me want to reread the scene when katniss& peeta watch haymitch's games and line up the details for myself!! it also cracks me up how much collins has leaned into songs& songbird symbology, though maybe that's more noticeable post-ballad of snakes&songbirds (LOL DUH). tbh... this was basicallyyyy a prosimetric text ....
