really liked it

WHEN I GROW UP, I WANT TO BE A SONG is a cute book written in rhymes.
Rhymes are well-chosen, adding musicality to the story, and the words are uncomplicated.
The cadence does not lead the story, which is perfect.
The emphasis on many songs is directed at parents and caregivers, as children may not be familiar with the tunes.
People's thoughts are often chaotic, but the storyline is a bit fragmented.
The visuals are a great map of the narrative; they add joy to the pages, effectively illustrate the actions, and are full of details that young readers will love to explore.
The list of contemporary pop, country, and hard rock songs at the end of the publication adds value to the publication; it could take hours to study.
