Starting the Spotlight on the Last Picks books with Keme?! Loved every minute of it.

This one is going to hurt in a different way than the previous one. Bobby and Dash are so solid and absolutely in love and Dash is finally (mostly) out of his own way on that front. So some might worry that there wouldn't be much in the way of trauma and tension now that the relationship has reached it's happily ever after. Fear not! We still have the rest of the Last Picks to see through to make they're all squared away and happy. Dash's anxiety wont let him leave anyone he loves unhappy. Unfortunately, Keme is really going through it and he's not used to Dash's extreme brand of care. And it hurts to read! These two are brothers and they need to figure it out because nobody else is going to be there for them the same way! Luckily, we get a new type of HEA, the bro HEA and I was just so here for it.

Oh right, the mystery. Look, I always just am tickled by the little nods and direct references to famous mysteries. Honestly, it often makes me want to pick them up. For once, I knew the answer fairly early on, but it was just pure dumb luck. It's much more fun to follow along as Dash lays out the clues for you. Maybe you can be the one to explain it to him next time he tries to explain what happened.
